Bus hits students and parents outside school in China, 11 killed

A bus hit a group of students and their parents outside a middle school in Tai’an city in eastern China on Tuesday morning, the second day of students returning to school after the summer holidays. Six parents and five students were killed in the accident, police said. Footage of the aftermath showed a fallen tree and an overturned scooter, as people rushed to help one of the injured victims.
