Washington — Former Rep. Liz Cheney, a Republican who has been a fierce critic of former President Donald Trump, said she will vote for Vice President Kamala Harris for president.
“I don’t think we have the luxury of having write-in candidates, particularly in swing states,” Cheney said Wednesday. “As a conservative who believes in and cares about the Constitution, I’ve thought deeply about this. And because of the threat that Donald Trump poses, not only am I not voting for Donald Trump, but I will be voting for Kamala Harris.”
Cheney spoke at an event at Duke University about how she will vote in November.
